carrahersolar.ie · prepared for Carraher Solar only

You've written 14 real articles about solar grants and pricing. Google shows none of them.

This review is about what your website brings in, and what stops it. The site itself is well built: real crew photos installing panels, named customer testimonials with their counties, a genuine 14-post blog covering grants, financing, VAT and payback time. None of it is thin content. The problem is that Google currently tracks only 5 searches for the whole site, all pointing at the homepage, and every one of them sits on page four or later. It's all detailed below, with what to do about each one.

01 The rankings

Five searches, all from the homepage, all past page three

Google tracks exactly 5 searches for this entire site. Every one of them comes from the homepage. None of the 15 blog articles, the gallery, or the about page shows up for a single search, at any position.

What people GooglePeople / monthYour situation

A 14-post blog covering exactly the searches homeowners make, grants, financing, VAT, payback, should be generating dozens of rankings on its own. It generates none. The homepage is doing all the work Google gives credit for, and it isn't enough to get past page three on any search.

Bottom line: The content exists. Google currently has almost no reason to show any of it.
02 The specifics

Three things holding the site back

The design, the photos and the testimonials aren't the issue here. The site simply hasn't built the kind of visibility that turns real content into real rankings.

Unranked
14 real blog articles, zero rankings between them
Solar Grants for Farmers, Solar Panel Financing Options, 0% VAT Rate for Solar Panels, Solar ROI in Ireland, all live, all genuinely useful, all confirmed working with no broken links. Not one of them appears anywhere in Google's tracked rankings for this site.
Dated
The footer copyright still says 2023
A small detail, but it's exactly the kind of thing a visitor comparing installers notices, and it suggests the site hasn't had attention in some time.
Weak
The homepage carries every search on its own
All 5 tracked searches point at the homepage. There's no page built specifically for Wicklow, Dublin, or any of the buying searches the blog content already answers in article form.
Worth noticing

Price both options: patch the current site, or build once. A Wix site with 19 real pages and genuinely zero search visibility usually means the platform's technical setup, not the content, is holding it back. It's worth pricing what fixing that setup costs against building the site once, properly, around the content you've already written.

Bottom line: Fourteen real articles are doing nothing for you. That's a setup problem, not a content problem.
03 Done for you

The fixes, already written out

Each fix below is ready to hand to whoever manages the site.

Fix 1 · Your homepage's Google listing, before vs after
The current listing runs long and general. The new version names the county and the service in the first line, which matters more when a site is starting from zero visibility.

Solar Panels Wicklow & Dublin | Carraher Solar
Solar panel installation for homes and businesses across Wicklow and Dublin. Free site visit, SEAI grant support included.
Fix 2 · The pages the searches above are missing
Ordered by search size. Your blog already has the raw material for most of these.
/solar-panels-wicklow/ → owner: build using content you already have in "Solar ROI in Ireland" and "Understanding Solar Panel Prices"
/solar-panels-carlow/ → owner: 170 searches a month, currently only reached weakly from the homepage
/solar-panels-dublin/ → owner: your other named county, no dedicated page exists
Fix 3 · The remaining quick fixes
Small, checkable, no design work involved.

05 What it adds up to

Run your own numbers on it

The searches in this report add up to

880 searches every month across the five terms currently tracked.

0 visits a month currently arriving from any of them.

Zero confirmed rankings anywhere in the top 30.

880 people a month are typing these five searches into Google, and your site currently gets none of them, despite having the content already written to answer most of it. You know how many of those searches turn into a job for you, and what a job is worth. That's the sum worth doing on your side.

Bottom line: The writing is done. What's missing is the technical foundation to let Google find it.
Why sooner beats later

With only 5 tracked keywords and zero measurable traffic, this site has essentially no search presence to lose, but also nothing protecting it from falling further behind installers who are actively building county pages and ranking for them.
